Daniel Noemi Voionmaa

Bachelor of Literature, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Santiago (PUC). PhD in Literature from Yale University. Master in Hispano-American Literature, University of Chile. He is currently Professor of Cultural Studies at Northeastern University, Boston, USA. He was Full Professor in the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA; and also, Assistant Professor in the Department of Languages and Literatures at Bard College, New York, USA. He is a cultural critic, chronicler and scholar of Latin American literature and culture. His research and teaching focus on the intersection of critical theory and literature, and on the visual arts, film, and politics.
